Russian Soldiers Doing Everything to Save Civilians' Lives, Says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, stated that Russian soldiers are doing everything possible to save the lives of civilians in Ukraine, as reported by the Kremlin's press service.

The conversation was initiated by the German side and centered around the situation regarding Ukraine.

In his remarks, Putin emphasized that the Russian armed forces are taking measures to protect civilian lives, including ensuring the safe evacuation of people from cities in combat zones.

On March 17, a humanitarian operation facilitated the evacuation of approximately 43,000 people.
