Repairs to the Gas Pipeline from Armenia to Artsakh Completed

Repairs to the gas pipeline from Armenia to Artsakh have been completed, according to the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

“At the same time, we inform that, considering the pipeline's inoperability for 10 days, a number of technical works are currently being carried out to ensure the proper and uninterrupted transport and supply of gas to the distribution networks. After these works are completed, gas supply will be restored,” the statement said.

All subscribers are urged to remain vigilant to prevent gas leaks and emergencies when the gas supply is restored.

It is recalled that due to an accident in the areas of Shushi-Zariflu in Artsakh, gas supply in the Republic of Artsakh has been disrupted since March 8, while the Azerbaijani side had hindered the commencement of the pipeline repairs. The damaged section of the pipeline is under the control of Azerbaijani armed forces.

Thanks to the negotiations supported by the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Russian peacekeepers, the Azerbaijani side began repair work on the damaged gas pipeline in Artsakh on March 16.
