Mother Russia Welcomes Donbas: Crimea is Already Home – Margarita Simonyan

Crimea returned to Russia eight years ago. I have never felt such a joyous sense of pride as I did this spring. This was stated by Margarita Simonyan, the chief editor of RT, as she celebrated the eighth anniversary of Crimea's reunification with Russia.

“I was very happy for our people at that time, who wanted to live in their homeland all those years. However, spring cannot last forever. Now the Russian summer is approaching. Mother Russia is welcoming Donbas, which is still standing on the threshold. Crimea is already home – final and irreversible. And that is wonderful. Dear Crimeans, I congratulate all of you,” she wrote.
