Garnik Isagulyan Released on 10 Million Dram Bail
The leader of the 'National Security' party, Garnik Isagulyan, has been released. The general jurisdiction court of Yerevan, presided over by Judge Vache Margaryan, made a decision to replace the detention measure imposed on Garnik Isagulyan with bail, setting the amount at 10 million AMD.
Isagulyan has been involved as a defendant in a criminal case being investigated by the Investigative Committee for the charge of false accusation. This pertains to statements regarding Vladimir Karapetyan, former press secretary of Nikol Pashinyan, who is now the Armenian ambassador to Ukraine, allegedly being recruited by Turkish special services.
