What Was the Cause of the Soldier's Death: A Criminal Case Has Been Initiated

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of conscripted soldier Albert Levon Siroyan, under Part 2, Item 3 of Article 360.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. Investigative and other procedural actions are underway in the Ninth Garrison Investigative Division of the Military Investigative Main Department.

According to preliminary data, on March 16, 2022, at approximately 21:10, in a combat position of military unit N of the RA Ministry of Defense, conscripted soldier Albert Levon Siroyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the neck from his assigned AK-74 assault rifle.
