Moscow Concerned About Situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenian-Azerbaijani Border, Says Zakharova
Russia has recorded violations of the ceasefire regime along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border since the beginning of March. This was stated during a weekly briefing by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“We are concerned about the situation in this region, as well as in certain sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Since the beginning of March, we have been periodically recording cases of ceasefire violations along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” said Zakharova.
According to her, Russian peacekeepers are doing everything within their responsibility zones to ensure that the situation remains stable and manageable. Thanks to these efforts, Zakharova noted, there have been no armed incidents reported since March 13.
