Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The information circulated on social networks and various media outlets regarding a provocation by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on March 16 at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, resulting in the death of one Armenian serviceman and the injury of another, is not true. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

Once again, we urge that any information regarding the border situation be based solely on official statements.
