Europeans Do Not Want US Control: Zakharova

The European Union is being controlled from Washington in light of the current situation in Ukraine, and Europeans do not want such a scenario. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“This myth will not take root for long; everything will fade like mist. Many, if not the overwhelming majority, understand who started this game, why it is necessary, and who it benefits first and foremost. Europeans do not want this, and European politicians are not even necessary, but they can do nothing. They are under enormous pressure, and they suffer from it,” Zakharova said during a press briefing held on Thursday.

According to her, such a situation is unacceptable even for political movements on the European continent that are in power or in opposition.
