Documents Destroyed in Kherson Laboratories: What Was the Reason?

Documents have been rapidly destroyed in biological laboratories in Kherson. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by RIA Novosti.

One of the possible reasons could be the concealment of information about the dirofilaria disease that emerged in Kherson in 2018, which is transmitted by mosquitoes. A question arises as to why four infections were detected specifically in February, which is atypical for this insect’s life cycle.

In April 2018, Pentagon representatives visited local health institutions to review the results of epidemiological investigations and copied medical documents.

The Ministry has also noted a drastic rise in the number of tuberculosis cases in the DNR and LNR in 2018. During a massive outbreak in the Pesok region, more than 70 cases were identified, and there were quite a few fatal outcomes.

Officials from the Ministry stated that this may indicate intentional infection or an accidental pathogen leak from one of the biological laboratories located in Ukraine.
