Zelensky Reveals Number of Captured Russian Soldiers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated during a meeting with International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan that approximately one thousand Russian soldiers are currently in Ukrainian captivity.

“Everyone understands what is happening; there are people, there are already up to a thousand detainees, there are witnesses, there are recorded testimonies, there is everything that they (the captives) have said without coercion,” Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, war criminals must be held accountable.
