Martial Law in Artsakh: New Restrictions Imposed

The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has signed a decree regarding temporary restrictions on rights and freedoms under martial law, according to the Artsakh information headquarters.

According to the decree, during the period of martial law declared in Artsakh, the right to freedom of assembly is restricted, strikes are prohibited, and other activities aimed at halting or suspending the operations of organizations are also banned. Additionally, the activities of organizations that promote propaganda against the defense and security of Artsakh are suspended.

Martial law was declared in Artsakh on September 27, 2020.
