US Policy Towards Russia Has Lost Touch with Reality: Lavrov

The United States' policy towards the Russian Federation has lost touch with reality. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Lavrov described the US approach to Russia as furious, noting that American politicians have entirely lost their sense of reality.

In an interview with RBC, Lavrov agreed with the characterization that relations between Russia and the US have now 'hit rock bottom'.

“This is a metaphorical expression. Yes, this has never happened before, and I do not recall such absolutely furious policy being pursued by Washington. Much of this has emerged from Congress, where they have generally lost their sense of reality,” said Lavrov.
