Putin: Special Operation in Ukraine Will Continue Until the End

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree regarding new measures to support Russians. He announced this during a meeting on economic issues.

The document expands the powers of regional authorities and mandates them to take measures to ensure social and economic stability. These measures include:

• Increase in social payments
• Targeted support for citizens facing difficult life situations
• Monitoring of prices for essential goods
• Ensuring employment for the population, including organizing retraining and advanced education
• Reduction of administrative barriers for businesses and provision of targeted support, including preferential loans
• Support for NGOs.

The decree has come into effect from the day of signing.

Putin emphasized that private business should play a key role in overcoming the emerging economic challenges. In this regard, it is essential to reduce administrative obstacles for entrepreneurs.

According to the state leader, the West will not forgive Russia for its independent course and will try to impose pressure and violate its territorial integrity, but the U.S. and its allies will not succeed.

“I sincerely want to say that behind the so-called double-faced talks and today's actions of the collective West lie hostile geopolitical intentions; they simply do not want a strong and sovereign Russia. Forgive us for our independent course or for defending our national interests,” he stated.

Putin noted that the development of private business is what will allow Russia to maximize its potential. He emphasized that the special operation for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine will be carried out until the end.

“If Russian troops were only operating in Donbas, it would not lead to the elimination of danger; a new front line would be established there,” the state leader said. The President of Russia also mentioned that the West is pushing the authorities in Kyiv towards bloodshed by supplying weapons and mercenaries. Putin added that the Kremlin has urged the Ukrainian armed forces to withdraw their units from Donbas.
