I Prefer Ilona More: Kadyrov Asks Durov to Change Musk's Name on Telegram

The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has addressed Telegram founder Pavel Durov on the messaging platform, requesting a change to the name of the American entrepreneur Elon Musk's channel, replacing "Elon" with "Ilona." Telegram's team has registered a channel for Musk on the messenger called Elonas's voice messager (Ilona's voice messenger), Durov announced on Twitter.

“Durov, bravo, but I prefer Ilona more than Elon. Please adjust it a little,” Kadyrov wrote.

It is noteworthy that in recent days, Musk's comments and positions regarding the ongoing events in Ukraine have been actively discussed online. Musk is in a virtual debate with several well-known businessmen and officials who support Russia. A similar situation occurred yesterday when Musk debated with Kadyrov, responding that he was ready to fight Russian President Vladimir Putin with his left hand.

Musk had previously challenged Putin to a duel for the sake of Ukraine. Following that, various Russian officials, including Kadyrov, started responding to him on Twitter. Kadyrov remarked that Ilon (whom he contemptuously referred to as Ilona) should undergo special training in Chechnya to be ready for the duel with Putin. Musk replied literally, “If Putin is afraid of fighting, I am ready to use only my left hand, although I am not left-handed.” Additionally, after Kadyrov's post, Musk was humorously renamed on Twitter to “Ilona Musk.”
