Azerbaijan Makes New Positional Advancements: Abrahamyan
Azerbaijan, continuing its aggressive policies, is making new positional advancements, announced Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Honorary Title" faction.
“For several days now, some of our colleagues—former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan, political scientists Edgar Elbakyan and Alvina Aghababyan—have been alarmed about Azerbaijan's progress towards the village of Nerk'in Hand in the Syunik region. It concerns an approximately 1 km section falling under Azerbaijani control. Incidentally, local residents have also raised this issue through the media.
The Ministry of Defense has issued a "clarification" regarding this matter, yet it has not provided substantial justifications. Not to mention, the government has multiple times provided false, blatantly inaccurate "clarifications," which has diminished public trust in their statements and announcements to zero.
It should be noted that the lack of appropriate measures in the country’s security system has led to Azerbaijan, continuing its aggressive policies, making new positional advancements—instances such as the incursions in May and November of 2021 are sadly highlighted examples. This government has left the matter of ensuring our citizens' safety to the whims of fate, and the consequence will be continued losses,” stated Abrahamyan.
