Ukrainian Forces Shell Two Localities in Luhansk

Ukrainian forces have opened fire on two localities in the Luhansk People's Republic, according to a report from the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCC) LPR representative office.

According to the representative office, Berezovskoye and Kirovsk have come under shelling. A total of 14 shells of 122 mm caliber have been fired towards the localities.

Russia initiated military operations in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin described the operation's aim as the "protection of people who have been subjected to violence and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years."
