Rada Allows Declaration of Certain Regions of Ukraine as Occupied

Ukrainian MP Olha Sovhirian has stated that the Supreme Rada has adopted a bill allowing the National Security and Defense Council to declare certain territories of Ukraine as temporarily occupied. This was reported by TASS, referencing the MP's Telegram channel.

According to her, this provision includes a ban on conducting elections for deputies, mayors, and referendums, as well as Ukraine's non-recognition of their results if they are held by the occupiers.
