Pushilin Promises Punishment for Those Striking Donetsk with Tochka-U
Denis Pushilin, the leader of the Donetsk People's Republic, has promised to punish those responsible for the Tochka-U strike on Donetsk, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
"Those guilty will not escape punishment," he stated.
It was reported earlier today that Donetsk had been shelled by a Tochka-U missile. Donetsk Mayor Alexei Kuimzin had previously announced that a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile had hit near the Government House in the city center.
Later, the DPR Territorial Defense Headquarters reported 20 fatalities and nine injuries, while the DPR Ministry of Health confirmed 16 dead and 23 hospitalizations.
According to preliminary data from Pushilin, the number of injured has reached 26, including one child. Pushilin also declared that the strike by Ukrainian forces on Donetsk with a Tochka-U missile constitutes a war crime by Kyiv.
