Putin Announces Positive Developments in Ukraine Negotiations

The negotiations with Ukraine have seen positive progress, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin during talks with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, according to RIA Novosti.

“I will definitely inform you about the situation regarding Ukraine, and primarily about the negotiations that are currently ongoing, almost on a daily basis. There are certain positive shifts, as our negotiators have informed me. I will provide you with more detailed information about all of this,” said the head of state.

Putin also expressed gratitude to his counterpart for assistance regarding the electricity supply issues at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which have arisen due to actions by Ukrainian armed forces.
