Mercedes Crashes Into Wall, Then Into Resident's Metal Fence; Injured are Minors

Today, on March 11, a major traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 03:15, a Mercedes vehicle, under yet unknown circumstances, veered off the roadway, collided with a basalt stone on the roadside, then crashed into the wall of metal fences and crossed into the opposite traffic lane, eventually hitting the wall and metal grid of a house at 27 Vahagn Davtyan Street.

According to reports from shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, two minors were injured. The initial assistance was provided by residents of houses 27 and 29, followed by rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations who arrived promptly from the Yerevan Fire-Rescue Division No. 5 and Rescue Division No. 16. The rescuers extricated the two injured boys from the vehicle and brought them to the awaiting ambulance.

The injured minors were transported to the “Holy Mother of God” Medical Center. The firefighters disconnected the vehicle's power supply. The patrol service is investigating the identities of the driver and the injured parties. Both the driver and the passenger are minors.
