Car Accident in Kotayk Province: Vehicles Collide with Trees and End Up in a Gorge

Today, on March 10, a car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 11:40 AM, on the 9th km section of the Yeghvard-Nor Geghi road, the vehicles driven by 43-year-old Armen Balayan, a resident of Kotayk Province, and 46-year-old Lusine Khacharyan collided.

According to shamshyan.com, preliminary reports indicate that fortunately, there are no injuries. A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s rescue service arrived promptly with one operational team.

The firefighters cut off the power to the vehicles, secured the gas tanks, and after some time, with the help of special equipment, facilitated the vehicles’ transfer to tow trucks, as both vehicles had veered off the roadway due to the collision, hitting trees and ending up in a gorge.
