Man Pursued 46-Year-Old Woman Before Grenade Explosion: What Happened in Zovuni?

On March 11, at 10:40 AM, a report was received by the operative management center of the police informing that a man was chasing his ex-wife. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

According to other reports regarding the same incident, the pursued woman was seen near a school in the village of Zovuni, Kotayk Province, where an explosion was heard.

A response team from the Nairi police department discovered the bodies of 46-year-old Nelli N. and 46-year-old Artak D. near the Zovuni school. According to preliminary data, their deaths are the result of a grenade explosion.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
