The appetite of the terrorist country Azerbaijan does not diminish in any way: 'Zhoghavor'
According to the 'Zhoghavor' newspaper, it is no secret that since the first Nagorno-Karabakh war, Azerbaijan has been focused on enriching its army and acquiring weaponry. It turns out that even after the devastating 44-day war in 2020, Azerbaijan’s main goal remains the increase of its armed forces' resources.
Azerbaijan has published the expenditures for defense and national security for the year 2021. 'Zhoghavor' has learned from Azerbaijani open sources that, according to this document, Azerbaijan spent 99.2 percent of its budget earmarked for defense and national security in 2021, which is 20.9 percent higher than the 2020 figures.
What is the situation in Armenia after the 44-day war in 2020? According to the draft budget for 2021, it was planned to allocate 16.9 percent of the budget expenses to the defense sector (mostly for military defense). This represents a growth of 1.3 percent. It should be noted that Armenia's military expenses will increase by about 11 percent in the 2022 budget.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan continues to increase its military expenditures, spending 20.9 percent more than the previous year, which is double that of Armenia. The appetite of that terrorist country does not diminish in any way.
