Defense Ministry Denies Reports of Azerbaijani Advancements: New Details

The Defense Ministry categorically denied reports regarding the advancement of Azerbaijani Armed Forces units in a conversation with Auroranews.

The agency added that in the specified area, which is under Azerbaijani control, Azerbaijani units have several positions that cannot be used during the winter due to lack of equipment.

"Currently, due to changes in weather conditions, Azerbaijani military personnel are merely returning to those positions. There can be no talk of any advancements. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are fully executing the tasks set before them in that area as well as in all other sections, including constant monitoring of any movements of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and maintaining control over the situation," the Defense Ministry stated.

The Ministry urged once again that when disseminating information about the border situation, one should rely solely on official data.
