‘Let them enjoy communication with each other, without Russia’. Russia will no longer participate in the Council of Europe

Russia will no longer participate in the Council of Europe. This was stated in a declaration from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ministry notes that Russia does not intend to reconcile with Western destructive actions aimed at replacing international law with its own world order.

According to the Russian side, the EU and NATO continue on a trajectory of destruction for the Council of Europe and the overall humanitarian-legal space in Europe. “Let them enjoy communication with each other, without Russia,” the statement from the Russian foreign ministry reads.
