Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and UAE Sheikh Refuse Phone Call with Biden

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have declined to speak with President Biden over the phone during the ongoing Ukrainian crisis, rejecting a request for a meeting from the U.S.

"The monarchies have made it clear that they will not help lower rising oil prices until Washington supports them in Yemen and elsewhere. The White House made an unsuccessful attempt to arrange phone calls between President Biden and the de facto leaders of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as the U.S. worked to strengthen international support for Ukraine and curb oil prices," reported The Wall Street Journal.
