Collision Between Mitsubishi and Toyota in Gegharkunik: One Injured

Today, on March 9, an accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region due to icy road conditions. Around 08:00, a collision took place on the 5th kilometer section of the Seván-Martuni-Getap highway between a Toyota driven by 31-year-old Arman Meliksetyan from the Armavir region and a Mitsubishi driven by 43-year-old Edik Antonyan from the Shirak region.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, a passenger in the Mitsubishi, 63-year-old Fenik Ghazaryan, was taken to the 'Sevan' medical center with bodily injuries.

It is reported that one of the causes of the accident was the icy road, and it was only 40 minutes after the collision that the employees of the Sevan road department arrived to begin treatment of the road.
