Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Bomb Threat Reported at Shevchenko School

Today, March 9, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 10:05 AM, the emergency situations ministry's rescue service received a call regarding a bomb threat at Shevchenko School.

According to shamshyan.com, an operational team from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Squad No. 8 promptly arrived at the scene. Rescue workers and canine units from the ministry were also deployed.

Simultaneously, patrol officers from the Yerevan Police Department arrived, who, together with school staff and rescuers, evacuated employees and students to allow the canine teams to conduct their operations inside the school. An operational group from the central police division also arrived at the scene.
