Nord Stream 2 Operator Nord Stream 2 AG Officially Declares Bankruptcy
The operator of Nord Stream 2, Nord Stream 2 AG, has officially declared bankruptcy.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions on February 23 against Nord Stream 2 AG, the operator of the Russian gas pipeline, and its CEO Matthias Warnig, as stated in a release from the American agency.
Additionally, the U.S. Treasury Department has published a main license, which requires all operations related to Nord Stream 2 AG to be completed by March 2, 2022.
