If Russia Hadn't Taken Action in Ukraine, It Would Have Faced Greater Risks: Putin

The military special operation in Ukraine was a forced step for Russia, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by RBK.

“What is happening is a necessary measure. We simply had no other way to act. The security sphere had created such risks that it was impossible to respond through other means. All attempts yielded zero results,” noted the Russian president, adding that there was no possibility to move forward on any issue, even by a millimeter.

He believes that if Russia had not taken action in Ukraine, it would have faced even greater risks.
