Pashinyan Accepts Putin's Invitation to Visit Russia: Kremlin
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has accepted an invitation to visit Russia from Vladimir Putin. This was reported by RT, citing the Kremlin's press service.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday. According to the Kremlin's press service, the parties exchanged thoughts on the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh.
Earlier, the Armenian government announced that a phone call took place between Nikol Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin on February 21. The leaders discussed the implementation of agreements reached in the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 16.
The Russian President invited the Armenian Prime Minister to make an official visit to Moscow in the spring. In turn, Nikol Pashinyan invited Vladimir Putin to Armenia. They also discussed the established situation in Russian-Ukrainian relations and regional security issues.
