Azerbaijani Side Violated Ceasefire, Artsakh Defense Army Reports

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has released a statement claiming that on February 23, at approximately 10:05 AM, units of the Artsakh Defense Army opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the southeastern direction of the Republic of Artsakh.

According to the Artsakh Defense Army, it was actually the Azerbaijani side that violated the ceasefire in that section of the frontline, resulting in no losses for the Armenian side.

“Relevant information regarding the ceasefire violation has been provided to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh once again reaffirms its commitment to the ceasefire regime and informs that the Defense Army has not violated the ceasefire regime in this or any other direction,” the statement from the Artsakh Ministry of Defense reads.
