New Anti-Russian Resolution: The EU Parliament Adopts a New Sanctions Framework
Members of the European Parliament have approved a resolution condemning Russia's military operation in Ukraine and calling for strict sanctions against Moscow. The resolution was put to a vote today at a special plenary session of the European Parliament in Brussels.
The Members of the European Parliament believe that Russia must compensate for the damage inflicted on Ukraine's infrastructure during the special operation. The resolution states, "The European Parliament emphasizes that the Russian Federation is responsible for the damage to Ukrainian infrastructure, including civilian facilities and residential buildings, as well as significant economic losses, and must compensate for the damage caused by its aggressive actions."
