Ukrainians Have Put Their Fate in the Hands of a Comedian: Brazil's President on Zelensky
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has refused to condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, according to Reuters.
He stated that when making decisions and statements regarding Moscow, he will be guided by practical considerations, taking into account the partnership between the two countries.
Speaking about Ukraine's leader, Vladimir Zelensky, Bolsonaro remarked that Ukrainians have "put their nation's fate in the hands of a comedian." On Friday, Brazil voted in favor of a UN Security Council resolution condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine, despite Bolsonaro's reluctance.
