Armenian Soldier Captured: He is Serving in the Russian Army

An Armenian soldier has been captured in Ukraine, according to reports from Ukrainian Telegram channels, which have published a photo of the serviceman along with details of his interrogation.

22-year-old Private Georg Grigoryan recounted that he was inside a Russian armored personnel carrier that was hit, after which he was taken captive. He noted that they had initially participated in training exercises, after which their phones and means of communication were confiscated and they were moved to the Ukrainian border.

When asked if he wanted to fight against the Ukrainian people, the soldier replied, 'Not at all.' He also informed that his parents live in Rostov-on-Don and urged them not to worry.
