G7 Countries Agree on Unified Sanctions Package Against Russia
The UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has announced that the G7 countries have agreed on a unified sanctions package against Russia. She shared this information on her Twitter account.
“The G7 Foreign Ministers strongly condemn Russia’s violation of its international obligations. In response, we have agreed on a powerful coordinated escalation sanctions package. Our support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity is unwavering,” she wrote.
Earlier, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman indicated that Russia seeks to return the international community to the era of empires, which poses a threat to the entire global community.
