BMW X6 Driver with 'Gold' License Plate Turns His Car and Ford Focus into Metal Scrap in Yerevan
On February 22, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 00:30, the driver of a BMW X6 with the license plate 11 VY 111 veered into the opposite lane at the intersection of Hrachya Kochar Street and Barekamutyun Street, colliding with a Ford Focus driven by 30-year-old Yeghegnak Ghazarian, who was parked in a permissible area of the road.
According to reports from the scene, both vehicles veered off the roadway and ended up on the sidewalk designated for pedestrians. The Ford also struck an iron advertising sign.
A citizen at the scene, who reportedly was in the BMW X6, attempted to flee but was apprehended by the police. Upon his capture, a pistol was found in his possession, after which police took him to the Arabkir police department.
Sources indicate that the X6 was driven by a notorious young man known for criminal records, whose details are currently being withheld. He has a history of convictions and is known for being involved in several car accidents across the country.
