Concerns Raised Over Sale of Poultry from Vehicles in Yerevan

The State Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia has received reports from residents in various administrative districts of Yerevan regarding individuals selling poultry from the backs of vehicles in the courtyards of the capital's buildings and near private homes. This information has been reported by the Inspectorate.

"Firstly, we inform you that such poultry could be dangerous to your health as there has been no oversight performed on it, and we urge you not to purchase it under any circumstances. If you observe the illegal sale of poultry, please provide information about the sellers, including the vehicle's make, model, and license plate number, to the Police of Armenia, the Yerevan Municipality, and the respective administrative districts via hotlines. You can also inform us at our hotline numbers 010-206040 or 012-906090," the statement reads.
