Names of the Victims in the Tragic Abovyan Accident Revealed

The names of the victims in the tragic accident in Abovyan have become known.

It should be noted that on February 20, at 20:03, the Kotayk regional crisis management center received a call reporting a traffic accident near the "Republican Anti-Tuberculosis Dispensary" Ltd in the city of Abovyan, with casualties.

Emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department, including a firefighting team and a specialized rescue group, were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that three vehicles were involved in the collision: an "Opel Vectra B" (driven by V. K.), a "BMW X5" (driven by S. D., born in 1969), and a "VAZ-2106" (driven by V. P., born in 1976).

Rescuers approached the passenger of the "VAZ-2106", V. P. (born in 2007), and assisted in transferring him to an ambulance. The injured individual was initially hospitalized at the Abovyan medical center and later transferred to the "Saint Astvatsamayr" medical center in Yerevan, where doctors assessed his condition as extremely critical.

Rescuers secured the area, disconnected the vehicles from power, closed the gas valve of the "VAZ-2106", and retrieved the bodies of the driver and four passengers: A. P. (born in 1982), V. P. (born in 2005), G. P. (born in 1957), and M. G. (born in 1988).
