Germany and France's Foreign Ministers Issue Joint Statement
The foreign ministers of Germany and France have expressed disagreement with the leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) regarding plans for an attack on Ukraine. This is stated in the joint statement by the ministers.
They have also called on Russia to exert influence over Donetsk and Luhansk in order to achieve de-escalation.
It was previously reported that the German Bundeswehr has raised its military readiness level in case of a potential escalation.
