Turkey Calls Crimea's Annexation by Russia an 'Occupation': Hulusi Akar
The head of Turkey's Ministry of Defense has once again labeled the annexation of Crimea by Russia as an 'occupation.' Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar spoke with reporters during a NATO summit in Brussels, addressing questions related to Ukraine, Georgia, and Crimea.
According to ermenihaber, he reiterated Turkey's stance on Crimea, asserting that Ankara considers the annexation by Russia to be an 'occupation.'
The Turkish defense minister also touched on the issue of Georgia's territorial integrity, stating that Ankara would not waver from its position.
