Major Fire in Kamaris Village: Barn Reduced to Ashes Along with Nearly 600 Birds
Today, February 17, a major fire broke out in the Kotayk province. At approximately 5:50 AM, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call at the 9-11 crisis management center reporting that a fire had erupted in the roof of a barn located at the end of Kamaris village.
According to Shamshyan.com from the scene, it was discovered that the barn belonging to Shiraz Meliksetyan was completely burned down, resulting in the loss of over 600 birds, including chickens, quails, and lories, which have been reduced to a pile of ashes.
According to villagers, Shiraz Meliksetyan incurred damages amounting to approximately 70 million AMD. The cause of the fire will be determined after investigations are carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
