Lavrov and Bayramov Discuss Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict
The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan, Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov, have held a phone conversation to address the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In particular, the two ministers discussed the implementation process of the trilateral statements regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the prevailing situation in the region.
During the Lavrov-Bayramov phone call, developments around Ukraine were also brought up.
It is worth noting that yesterday, on February 15, Lavrov also had a telephone conversation with the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. They addressed urgent bilateral and regional issues, including the implementation of trilateral agreements made by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26, 2021.
The cooperation within the CSTO was also discussed, taking into account Armenia's presidency.
