Klychko: 'We Are Prepared for the Worst-Case Scenario in Ukraine'
The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klychko, has called for solidarity with Ukraine. This was reported by Deutsche Welle.
"We are prepared for the worst-case scenario in Ukraine; the world now needs to provide support," the politician stated in an interview with the German publication Welt am Sonntag.
According to Klychko, Vladimir Putin aims to achieve global influence, and the West must understand that the Baltic states are next in line after Ukraine. "We are merely at the beginning," the Kyiv mayor declared.
"If Olaf Scholz and other state leaders speak with Putin, they need to make it clear to him that our country will fight against the aggression, and there will be very serious consequences," Klychko emphasized.
