“Azerbaijan Wants Armenians to Leave Artsakh” – Babayan
The peace treaty with Azerbaijan has always been the ultimate goal for all of us. This was stated by Davit Babayan, the Foreign Minister of Artsakh, during a conversation with reporters.
“It should conclusively resolve the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict. The issue is that Azerbaijan has a different vision; they want Armenians to leave Artsakh. And they do not hide that. Therefore, we must work on the peace agreement, but I believe that Azerbaijan will try to torpedo this good initiative from the Armenian side,” stated the minister.
“We have always said that the official Stepanakert believes that the conflict can only be resolved through the reconciliation of societies. Unfortunately, the Azerbaijani society is not ready for this. The issue is not the people. There are no good and bad nations; there are good and bad leaders. In the case of Azerbaijan, we have a state that has turned Nazism into state policy,” concluded Davit Babayan.
