Major Car Accident in Tavush Province: One Fatality

Today, on February 10, a 62-year-old resident of Yerevan, Melik Janvelyan, has died in the hospital. According to shamshyan.com, he was hospitalized on February 9 due to a major car accident that occurred in Tavush Province. The driver of a Ford vehicle was also hospitalized.

M. Janvelyan was driving an Opel vehicle at the time of the accident.

It was previously reported that on February 9, a serious car crash took place in Tavush Province. Around 4:30 PM, a head-on collision occurred on the 105th km section of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway between a Ford driven by 35-year-old Zorik Avagyan, a resident of Tavush Province, and an Opel driven by Melik Janvelyan. As a result of the accident, the Opel driver was taken with bodily injuries to the Dilijan Medical Center.
