Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be the candidate of the "People's Alliance" in the 2023 presidential elections, stated Devlet Bahçeli, the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party.

As reported by RIA Novosti, the next general elections, both presidential and parliamentary, will take place in June 2023. The ruling Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Movement Party previously formed the "People's Alliance." "Our presidential candidate is clear; it is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. I believe that Mr. Erdoğan will win the elections in June 2023 by a large margin, and the People's Alliance will also achieve a new victory," Bahçeli's words were cited by the Star newspaper.
