Belarusian Ambassador Summoned by Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs

It has been reported that the Belarusian ambassador to Armenia, Alexander Konyukin, was summoned today to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The summons is related to scandalous statements made by the president of Belarus.

Auroranews.am contacted the press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan, who confirmed that the ambassador was indeed present at the Ministry's premises today. However, he declined to provide further comments regarding the content of the meeting.

We attempted to find out if there would be an announcement regarding the meeting, but the spokesperson left the question unanswered. It is worth noting that yesterday, in an interview with Vladimir Solovyov, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made controversial statements, saying, "Armenia has nowhere to go. Do you think they need anyone?"
