"Before the Americans are deployed, we will already be on the shores of La Manche" - Lukashenko
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko believes that the CSTO armed forces are much more effective than NATO forces. "Before they (the Americans) are deployed there and send some troops here, we will already be on the shores of La Manche," Lukashenko stated, referencing the recent peacekeeping operation conducted by the CSTO in Kazakhstan. "It will be easier in Europe," Lukashenko noted.
