156 Cases of Chickenpox Recorded in Yerevan Last Week

During the past week, 23 cases of intestinal infections and 156 cases of chickenpox were recorded in Yerevan. This was reported by a representative of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention during a working meeting at the Yerevan City Hall.

He also noted that no cases of poisoning were recorded during the previous week.

Regarding coronavirus, 15,665 positive cases were registered in Yerevan over the past week, but there is no exact number regarding how many of these were diagnosed with the Omicron variant.

The specialist also touched upon acute respiratory infections, informing that 52 such cases were recorded.
